1. Overview
Status Saver is an Android application that lets you view, organize, save, favorite, and share status media that is already available on your device. The app is developed and published by Boxobo Labs.
2. Status media and local processing
Status images and videos are read from folders that you explicitly grant the app access to through Android's Storage Access Framework or, on older Android versions, the platform's storage permissions.
- Status media is processed locally on your device.
- We do not upload your status images or videos to our servers.
- We do not sell status media or use it to build advertising profiles.
- Saved media is written to your device gallery only when you request it.
3. Permissions and app access
The app may request access to a selected status folder, legacy storage permissions on older Android versions, internet and network state access for advertising and billing, and notification permission if you enable reminders.
You can revoke folder or system permissions at any time in Android settings. Revoking access may prevent status media from appearing until access is granted again.
4. Installed applications and package information
Status Saver can detect supported WhatsApp applications and may display a list of launchable applications when you choose the manual source picker. App labels, icons, and package names are read locally from Android's package manager to help you select a compatible status source.
This package information is not uploaded to Boxobo Labs. A manually selected app is accepted only if the app can locate a compatible status folder on your device.
5. Preferences stored on your device
The app stores settings locally, which may include your selected source, language, theme, folder URI, favorite file names, reminder preference, advertising frequency counters, and cached Pro entitlement state. These settings remain in the app's private storage unless Android backup services copy app data according to your device and account settings.
6. Advertising
The free version uses Google AdMob to display banner and interstitial advertising. Google and its partners may process device identifiers, IP address, approximate location, advertising interactions, diagnostics, and other information as described in Google's policies.

7. In-app purchases
Status Saver offers an optional one-time Pro purchase that removes advertising. Purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. Boxobo Labs does not receive or store your full payment card details. Google Play may provide purchase status, product identifiers, and purchase tokens so the app can verify and restore your entitlement.
8. Notifications
If you enable daily reminders, Android WorkManager may schedule a local notification. Reminder notifications are generated on your device and can be disabled in the app or Android settings.
9. Sharing and external applications
When you share or repost media, Android may send the selected file to an application you choose. That third-party application's privacy practices apply once the content is shared. Status Saver does not control how another application processes content you send to it.
10. Data retention and deletion
Because status media is not uploaded to Boxobo Labs, we do not retain copies on a remote server. You can delete saved media from the app or your gallery. You can clear local settings by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app.
11. Children's privacy
Status Saver is not directed to children under 13 and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children. Advertising settings and applicable age-related requirements may also be governed by Google Play and Google AdMob policies.
12. Security
We use Android platform security controls and keep media processing local whenever possible. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but the app is designed to minimize remote data handling.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app, legal requirements, or third-party services change. The effective date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are published.
